We are pleased to announce EMT Jada Singletary’s promotion to lieutenant. She began her journey with Empress in April 2021, shortly after the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. She first joined as a Phoenix High School Cadet, where her dedication and passion for EMS quickly stood out.

She attended the Empress EMS Academy and earned her EMT certification, transitioning into a full-time EMT role, where she gained valuable field experience, consistently demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and a strong commitment to patient care.
As her career progressed, she expanded her responsibilities by joining the Quality Assurance team and eventually taking over leadership of the Phoenix Cadet Program. Her ability to mentor, educate, and inspire future EMS professionals made a lasting impact.
She later transitioned into dispatch, becoming a certified emergency medical dispatcher. Her extensive operational knowledge, calm decision-making, and dedication to supporting field crews quickly made her an invaluable member of the communications team.
She has consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge, leadership, patience, and a willingness to help others succeed. These qualities have led her to take the next step in her career as a supervisor.
We are confident she will continue to make a positive impact in her new role, and we look forward to seeing all she accomplishes.
