EMT Jeudys Diaz has been promoted to lieutenant and is assigned to the Montefiore division as an operations supervisor.
Jeudys joined the Montefiore division a few months ago and quickly became an integral part of the team. From the beginning, he has demonstrated a strong work ethic and a natural willingness to step in and assist wherever needed. He has consistently shown initiative, often recognizing what needs to be done and taking care of it without being asked.
Jeudys began his EMS career in the Bronx during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. He brings valuable supervisory experience to the Montefiore division, having served in an EMS operations supervisory role with BronxCare EMS since 2024.
He has demonstrated the leadership qualities, professionalism, and dedication necessary to take on this new responsibility, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth and the positive impact he will have on the Montefiore division.
