Empress EMS Acquires Mobile Medic EMS of Sullivan County
Empress EMS is today pleased to announce the acquisition of Mobile Medic EMS, a longstanding EMS provider located in Sullivan County. We welcome the Founder of Mobile Medic, Albee Bockman and his son, Justin, to our organization and we look forward to working with them and their excellent team.
Mobile Medic EMS is an organization with a long and respected EMS history within the Hudson Valley Region and New York State.
As the primary provider of Advanced Life Support Services throughout Sullivan County and an integral part of the healthcare fabric of the County, Mobile Medic EMS has a significant presence and is an important medical resource to the residents living and working in Sullivan.
In the coming days, we will be announcing more exciting news about this but for now we ask you to welcome all of the employees of Mobile Medic EMS to the Empress EMS and PatientCare EMS Solutions family.
“We are excited to bring the Mobilemedic team on board. The acquisition gives us the opportunity to expand our offering of excellent service to the healthcare providers in this region. It extends our reach in greater New York. With the recent acquisition of EmStar Ambulance in 2021, and now the addition of the well-respected Mobilemedic EMS organization, Empress is well-positioned to be the ambulance provider of choice for hospital networks, other facilities, and communities throughout the entire Hudson Valley Region,” said Empress President Michael Minerva.
“After many years of operating independently, we felt it was time to partner with a larger EMS service. We considered several opportunities but determined that based on its commitment to its employees, patients, clients and communities, Empress is by far the right fit culturally. We are excited about being part of this organization and working together for the benefit of Sullivan County and surrounding areas.” said Albee Bockman, the founder of Mobilemedic EMS.
